Jeff Fang, PhD
Chairman |
Mr. Fang is the Founder and Chairman of CIeNET Technologies and has over 20 years of experience in consulting. He earned his PhD. in Computer Science from Illinois Institute of Technology. Mr. Fang worked for Bell Laboratories for four years before leaving to start a consulting company focused on outsourcing in the telecommunications industry in the US. He was responsible for building a company of over 250 engineers before the company was acquired by Modis (a NYSE company) in 1999. Mr. Fang also taught as a professor in the Computer Science Department at the University of Illinois in Chicago from 1983-1988.
Mr. Fang has been the recipient of numerous awards in the US and Taiwan as an influential member of the Chinese American community. He has been recognized for his success as an entrepreneur and has been the keynote speaker at many Chinese American Business Conferences. In 1993, he received the Minority Business Development Award in Chicago and in 1999, the Overseas Chinese Entrepreneur Award in Taiwan. He currently is a Director of several company boards and also acts as Chairman of several of those company boards. |

Howard S.Yang, PhD

Mr. Yang has over 25 years of experience in the telecommunication industry. After receiving his PhD. in Computer Science from the University of Connecticut in 1980, Mr. Yang began a 20 year career at AT&T Information System / Bell Labs / Lucent Technologies. During his tenure, Mr. Yang served as the R&D Managing Director for Bell Labs China, helping to establish the Communication Software Development Center in Beijing. He managed the personnel and budget for the development of six different telecommunication products. He was also responsible for establishing partnerships with prospective outsourcing companies and managing feature deliverables.
Mr. Yang joined CIeNET Technologies in 2001 in Beijing as the General Manager. He has initiated the growth of CIeNET Technologies from 150 employees to over 900 employees in less than six years. He is responsible for the daily operations of CIeNET Technologies including strategic planning, business development, and customer relations. He has a unique understanding of China and an innate ability to relate with local engineers to help facilitate and maintain a corporate culture built around people despite the rapid growth in company size. |

Julian Chen, PhD

Mr. Julian Chen received his Masters and PhD. from Northwestern University in Computer Science. Prior to joining CIeNET Technologies, Mr. Chen spent 15 years working for Lucent Technologies / AT&T Bell Laboratories in North America and Asia/Pacific regions. His previous responsibilities included leading software development teams of 30+ engineers across three different cities and two continents, and working with multiple vendors and customers on an $80 million revenue vendor switch configuration management system.
Mr. Chen is the Managing Director for the R&D and Engineering Divisions of CIeNET Technologies in addition to his responsibilities as the Deputy General Manager. He is responsible for managing and growing the Mobile Device project team to exceed 320 engineers and also for seizing new business opportunities with US, Japan, and European companies. Mr. Chen brings extensive experience in system engineering, system development, and marketing in the telecommunication industry. |

| Mrs. Qi Hui started with CIeNET Technologies in 2000 as the Director of Operations. Her daily responsibilities include overseeing Human Resources, Administration, and Finance Departments. Dong Fengjun

| Mr. Dong Fengjun joined CIeNET Technologies in 2002. Previously, he served as a project manager at Lucent Technologies for five years. Prior to Lucent, he was the Deputy Manager of Project Management Department at Beijing Construction Bureau of Telecommunications. He graduated from Beijing University of Post and Telecommunications with a degree in Telecommunication Engineering and earned his Executive MBA from Tsinghua University in 2006 with a directional focus on Resource Management. Mr. Dong has 16 years experience in engineering and management in the telecommunication industry and has been recognized eight times with an Excellence Award for his dedication and hard work. He has been influential in developing a vibrant and energetic recruiting team to help CIeNET grow with the most talented engineers available in China |
